There's plain glass.... then there's Glass Gone Wild!
Sandblast etching brings glass to life. From life under the sea or in the air to abstract
designs, etched glass can be as functional as it is beautiful. Etching transforms a piece of glass into a significant
work of art, every project is done on a custom basis.
Basically anything with glass can be etched. Doors &
windows, cabinet & pantry door glass, tabletops & mirrors, shower doors, vehicle glass, glassware & glass dishes,
and awards.
I use the sandblast method which is covering the glass with
a mask, drawing the design onto the mask, cutting the design lines with an exacto knife, and peeling away the mask in stages
to expose the glass and sandblast.
Below shows Rustling ready for it's first blast. After I've
finished the first blasting I'll pull the masking off for the next stage of blasting and repeat until it's
finished.

Of all the glass I've sandblasted,
Rustling is my favorite. The design is from the painting
by Jimmy Toddy (Beatien Yazz), when I saw it I knew it would look fantastic on glass.
