Terrorist?! Heck no, it's just me, doing that little thing I do!
I've frightened many a passerby in this get up! And I've frightened my pets also!
Well no sandblaster would be complete without the help and support of loved ones.....

Even if they do laugh at me.
That's Jerry and "Pizzazz" - Pizzazz is pure Mustang!
Conceived in Wyoming, born in Arizona.

This lovely lady is Pizzazz's mom, Topaz - born
free in Wyoming until her capture in 2000, taking her first look at Frank, the Alpaca.
ARGGG! |

"Chase" here is as fast as a Greyhound - when he gets out of the yard, and
he has no idea where he's going but he goes as fast as he can. He doesn't really need to wear that eye patch,
but it makes him look dangerous and exciting!
Tennis anyone? |

|

This is our Pootie, you'll never see her without a tennis ball. And if
you do she'll be looking very depressed and lost! She can catch a fly ball from as high as you can throw it, even in
the dark. She's quite amazing with those things. She also gets extremely hyper on occasion, it's hard to describe
but it's what we call "Pootieing Out"
Our Pootie passed away this year at the age of 9 from lymphoma.

What a goofy looking Panda Bear..... oh wait, that's Bandit, the newest addition
to our goat family! She's not quite 2 weeks old yet in this photo and she's like greased lightning!
Here's Roscoe hiding in a tree. His voice is loud enough to wake the dead.

Bastian snoozing on the couch

Did I mention it was a zoo here? So, as you can see, I must sandblast
lots of glass to feed the troops!

Mari, the iguana (Mariguana), came to live with us a couple years ago at the age of 17.
She's about 4 feet long and her hobbies include tree climbing, swimming in her pool, which is located under her tree, basking
in the sun, and eating. This girl can eat! She eats oranges, apples, grapes, squash, sweet potatoes, leaves of
all kinds, romaine lettuce, and her favorite, kidney beans.

Mari's tree, look up at the top

Havasu..... it's a beautiful village and no where else feels like home!
Except when it's 120 degrees or more, then we all wonder what in the heck we're doing here.

One our favorite things to do here is get out and enjoy nature. This kayak was
the best investment I ever made.
It doesn't break down and costs nothing to paddle, and it's quiet!

Crystal Beach - Home Sweet Home |

|
Crystal Beach is about 8 miles north of Lake Havasu City and sits just
behind Castle Rock Cove, named for it's castle shaped hill. Castle Rock Cove is north of Lake Havasu's mouth on
the Colorado River. Many a canoer and kayaker have landed here, the end of a 16 mile trip through the
Topock Gorge in the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge. You know who you are, you're sunburned and you can no longer
feel your arms.
Just up river a bit are the Crystal Beach Cliffs, a favorite summertime jumping
and diving area. This is Kurt, in his younger years! He dives, the rest of us go feet first.

Lake Havasu City's claim to fame,
the London Bridge.

The Lake Havasu area is a beautiful place to live, but there is a price
we pay to live here, long long summers with temperatures ranging from 110 to 127 degrees! (or more)

Meet Spike!

This silly African Grey is actually on my head right
now as I'm working on this site! You've never met a parrot like this one. He rolls over onto his back to play
like a kitten or puppy! Constantly! I don't think Spike knows he's a bird. In his cage he spends more time
hanging upside down from his toys than right side up and laying on his back on his perches. We think he may be
part bat. He was hatched here, I also have his parents, Barrett and Ricochet.
And this is Max, our Blue and Gold Macaw

Max's cause is humane treatment for flies. Yes, flies. If you're
swatting pesky flies that get into the house Max will yell "OW" with every fly you swat! He would prefer we use a
"catch and release" program.
And this charming young wench is my daughter Blythe

And this is my father Lee

You can clearly see how my daughter takes after her grandfather!
And you can see where we get our ..... strange sense of humor?
Well, we blame it on him anyway.

These two little grey girls are Spike's sisters from the 2005 clutch.
They made surfing the net a little difficult. Parents Barrett and Richochet hatched 2 eggs this last April and they've grown
into another pair of real trouble makers, their picture is below, meet the 2006 chicks, Sandy and Diego!

Here they are at age 2 weeks!

Bonnie the Goose came to live with us when her former owners moved out of state.
She's probably about 14 years old. Now Spike, on top of whinnying like a horse, now also honks like a goose. Bonnie's
favorite food is romaine lettuce. In the background you can see Frank, the Alpaca.
